OnlineMedEd, Inc ("Company,” “us” or "we") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit any website, domain or subdomain made available by Company, including without limitation, onlinemeded.org, onlinemeded.com, and any content, functionality and services offered on or through any such site, domain or subdomain (the "Websites") and the OnlineMedEd Mobile Application and any other mobile software applications for access to and use of certain components of the service made available by us (collectively, the “App”), whether as a guest or registered user, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information. As used in this Privacy Policy, “OnlineMedEd”, “our service”, “OnlineMedEd service” or “the service” means the service provided by OnlineMedEd for consuming OnlineMedEd content, including all features and functionalities, our service, and user interfaces, as well as all content and software associated with our service.This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect:
- On the OnlineMedEd service.
- Via telephone or other voice enabled devices.
- In e-mail, text and other electronic messages between you and Company.
- When you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services.
It does not apply to information collected by any third party (including our affiliates and subsidiaries), including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on our service. We do not control the privacy practices of others.

Children Under the Age of 13
Our service are not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any information to or on our service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on our service or on or through any of its features, register on our service, make any purchases through our service, use any of the interactive or public comment features of our service, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or any screen name or user name you may use. Thinkific:
Because a part of our service is hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”), your data may be stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. Thinkific stores your data on a secure server behind a firewall. Information concerning your usage of our service and your progress using our study materials ("Course Performance Information") may be disclosed to third parties such as educational institutions, professors, and product development partners for a variety of purposes, including, but not limited to, analyzing and improving exam passage rates and for the development of new products and services. To the extent an educational institution (e.g., your medical school) collects and maintains Course Performance Information, that information may be considered an educational record under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ("FERPA"), 20 USC § 1232(g). If so, you may have certain rights of access and confidentiality as to those educational records, if any, as a student of that institution. By accessing and using our service, you consent to allow free exchange of Course Performance Information between us and/or Thinkific and your educational institution.
Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. You can use the following mechanisms to control your information:

- Promotional Offers from the Company. If you do not wish to have your e-mail address used by the Company to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in the footer of any related e-mail. This opt out does not apply to information provided to the Company as a result of a purchase, product service experience, or other transactions.
Accessing and Correcting Your Information
To the extent provided by the law of your jurisdiction, you may have the right to (i) access certain personal information we maintain about you, (ii) request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes, (iii) request that we update or correct inaccuracies in that information, (iv) object to our use of your personal information, (v) ask us to block or delete your personal information from our database, and (vi) request to download the information you have shared on the Website.
You can review and change your personal information by logging into the Website and visiting your account profile page. You may also send us an e-mail at help@onlinemeded.org to request access to, correct, delete or download a copy of any personal information that you have provided to us, or to make any other inquiries you may have about this Privacy Policy. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. Additionally, to help protect your privacy and maintain security, we may take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to the information. We may not accommodate a request if we believe the change would compromise the protection of other customers’ rights, or violate any law or legal requirement. We also may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would cause the information to be incorrect. To the extent permitted by applicable law, a charge may apply before we provide you with a copy of any of your personal information that we maintain.
If you delete your User Contributions from the Website, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Website users. Proper access and use of User Contributions provided on the Website is governed by our Terms of Use.
Data Retention
We will retain your personal information for a period of time consistent with the original purpose of collection or as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, maintain accurate accounting, financial and other operational records, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
We determine the appropriate retention period for personal information on the basis of the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information being processed, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of the personal information, whether we can achieve the purposes of the processing through other means, and on the basis of applicable legal requirements (such as applicable statutes of limitation).
After expiration of the applicable retention periods, your personal information will be deleted.
Data Security & Transfer
We have implemented technological and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers using industry-standard security measures. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. We limit access to and use of your personal information to authorized persons and trusted third parties who have a reasonable need to know the information in order to perform our services and business operations and who are bound by confidentiality obligations.

- Right to correct any inaccurate personal information.

You may exercise these rights by yourself or via an authorized agent who meets the agency requirements of CPRA. Once you exercise your rights, you agree to receive communication from us seeking information from you in order to verify your identity as the consumer from whom we have collected the personal information and such other information as reasonably required to enable us to fulfill your request. We will not fulfill your request unless you have provided sufficient information for us to reasonably verify that you are the consumer from whom we collected personal information, as well as sufficient details necessary to help us handle the request.
Note: The Services do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals and operates as described in this Privacy Policy whether or not a DNT signal is received. If we do so in the future, we will describe how we do so in this Privacy Policy.
